Noise

My base is plugged in by necessity with some appliances and I get some line noise.The radio has a noise blanker but could I use a ferrite core or some other device to cut the noise?

Yes, or you could also add an in-line LC filter.

I found some clamp on ferrite cores and they seem to cut down on the noise considerably-thanks!

Where do you install the ferrite cores, on the appliances ??
