good, bad, or ugly?

ive been away for and want to know the final verdict on the cbs 1000's. i see there running out just about everywhere and was thinking on picking one up before they dissapear.

is the quality good on them? i i know there the old cherokee radios but just wondering who has tried a new one.

I see enough on these radios, they are cheap and don't hold up long, and they don't make them anymore, unless they started any type of production again, not sure
