need peoples opinion on this radio. good bad let meknow. just curious how these radios are

Very similar to an S-3. I had one...was a great talker, but if you use talkback..the control is on the back of the radio, which is a bit inconvenient. I bought mine used...got a great price and would do it again. Sold it because I wanted a ssb rig.

I like all of the NP's that I've seen and tested. Every bit as goodf as the Magnums in my opinion, and in some ways, I think, a little better.

how would you compare it to a general lee.

Have Northpoint NT-3-HP as backup radio. Good on air reports from locals here they don't know if I'm on the Northpoint or the Magnum S9. Owned this one since first of the year, no problems talks good, pretty clean audio..

I think it has better over-all TX audio than the generals. Better mic amplification and processing.
