I have always wanted a desk top legal limit amp. After years and lots of patience I found a new in box Henry 2KD-5 amp still in the original box and still wrapped in the plastic and the manual with all paperwork. The only thing I had to do was to change the original caps out for new ones. I had a set of new Eimac 3-500z tubes. Wired it for 230 volts, I tested the amp with 100 watt drive and the meter was kicking about 1800 watts out on CW. The old saying of Have patience and it will happen holds true.

Pretty much the newest Henry you could have. And the power supply doesn't have the enormous filter choke. A plus, as I see it.
