All that resistance is to make sure the smoke is delayed in getting out of the box! This gives you time and opportunity to keep keying it to make sure you smoke as many of those insanely expensive bjt's as you can! LOL This is good for repeat business and does away with the need to pad a bill you legitmately need to replace those smoked transistors.
Smaller resistors would make sure that the cheap resistors smoked long before a transistor smoked and we can not have that! LOL
I am surprised some of these builders do not use carbon comp resistors to make sure things do not last! LOL
Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
