So I took my magnum S9 to a CB shop at exit 104 in Rutherford Glen VA. I needed it peaked and tuned and converted to 11 meter. I took it in the shop and he turned it up but the tech said he couldn't match the frequency numbers on my radio to match his bench radio. So I got a radio check and people can hear me. But now my frequency counter lights are off. Sometimes the channel light goes out too! Also the echo is now gone. Both of these worked when I brought the radio in. He said I need to send it back to magnum. I think this Guy doesn't know what he's doing..at least with magnums. What a waste.

Don't know how often you make it to Penna. Bob's CB Shop I-80 off Exit 70 Bob's CB Radio, 10 Meter Radio & Wireless Products is good tech for Magnum radios. He can be a bit slow with mail in repairs. He is a one tech shop.
I think he just moved, so I'm not sure at this point...you can look him up on his website, he does respond to emails.

Make sure you go to him, and not one of the other shops at Carlisle...there are several, he is the only good one.
FWIW, he's the only radio tech I use...never been disappointed; and he has fixed some hacked up, beat down, screw driver specials I have brought to him.
