NPC/Swing Mod for Cobra 148 GTL-B

Anyone have a npc or swing mod for this odd radio? Cobra 148 GTL-B

the "Made in China" radio. one of them was given to me.
it was messed up with a few modifications. it was drifty in SSB.
I rewired it back to stock. Then one day, it would not change channels.
I found a PLL problem. and found information in this website to this
common problem in that radio. a 10 ohm resistor at the main board
going to a blue wire. You should do this change. I will find
the postings. But I have the ALC and AMC turned all the way off.
4 watts carrier. adjust my microphone audio with the front panel
DYNAMIKE control. AM and SSB work great. You can turn the
carrier down, and have that forward swing if you want, with
the ALC/AMC adjustments.

oh, also on this "B" radio that looked like new, but had problems.
it had that newer fat stock Cobra microphone. The element was bad.
so no transmit audio. so I use an older "coffin mic" on it.

I have found on a few other newer stock Cobra fat mics,
(not sure if these mics have a nickname.?)
the elements to be bad, and the switch section for speaker
audio to be bad.
