Nothing remarkable on the back panel, 1 cable marked CB, 1 marked radio, and an input for the car antenna.

radio port is coax from cb radio
cb is output to the cb antenna
car antenna connection i likely would not use myself
once keyed up rotate the tuning knob slowly until you have adjusted for the brightest lamp indication.
Was this a general question on how the device operates,
have you used an swr meter to verify the match and eliminate a badly mistuned antenna or a bad coax?
