I had a DX with Okinawa Japan the other day in my mobile barefoot with a 4 ft. Kenworth Firestik clone. This is no joke, I almost crapped my pants. This was 2 days ago to be exact. We exchanged info and greetings. We must have had some serious flares that day or something... Unfortunately my SPT-500 was down for repairs at the time, just about got it ready to go back up though. I usually don't get much skip on the SPT-500 though, I'm guessing due to the lower radiation angle...

And the fact my vertical radiator was snapped off at the base...

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
