I bought an Icom IC-R6 Sport receiver to play around with, mostly to listen to aircraft.

They still sell these, but try to buy a wall wart, charger base or wall wart. All disconnected. I managed to scarf everything except a drop in charger base. I hate that. It's like buying a new Icom HF rig, but can't buy a stock hand mic. Stooooopid.

not sure. you can click the word "ebay" in my above post (hyperlink). Probably aftermarket since I see several of the same ones on ebay.

Yds, they are aftermarket. Doesn't say what the import duties are. Thi k I'll pass, but appreciate you looking out for me. Icom should have them stocked.

What microphone are you trying to purchase from ICOM?

I have an IC-R6 handheld wideband receiver. Trying to find the rapid charging base. All I see is ones priced as Gold, but mostly discontinued or out of stock. Lots of fake clones, too. I have the wall wart and 12 volt plug. I also ordered a USB power plug MyVolts in the Netherlands. It's still on its ocean voyage.

I find it unacceptable to sell the radio for years, but not have accessories easily purchased. I had bad luck with clones almost starting fires or frying my equipment. Hard to tell the difference anymore.

Codger rant continued.......

BC-194 Rapid Charge Base.

I had one of these many years ago. With the right antenna, it's a great airband receiver. I use a Smiley telescoping antenna. Works nicely. I haven't tried the 12 volt cigar plug yet, but the wall wart takes forever to charge. I mostly swap out with charged NiMH spares.
