Old School vs New School CBs: Which do you like ??

Because the uninsured drunk drivers aim for them.
My advice would be to move. I don't have that problem locally. The majority of my driving is with vintage vehicles. Recently I put a CB in my 1966 Bel Air station wagon. The fuse box has 3 terminals with switched connections to the battery from the factory. The inner passenger side rear fender holds the spare tire so a drain hole already exists large enough to pass coax. The lower dash center below the factory radio and h/ac controls has supports with screws spaced perfect for a Stryker 955 HPC+ bracket. Even my 1980 El Camino has multiple switched and unswitched terminals. The firewalls aren't air tight with ridiculously shaped plugged pass throughs like newer vehicles. No bcm that might be damaged or go haywire. So many advantages vs. newer vehicles.
