The older mics are for relay switching and will not work with electronic switching. You're best to sell it and buy a six wire mic which work with electronic switching.

9 years later, I found your comment and used your advice to wire my old Turner CS-1 (6 wire) to my DX959. I guess good advice really is timeless. Thanks, Gary KQ4DWC
