Would anyone know the number of turns and the diameter of the driver and final tuning coils on the skipper 300? I bought one and it is set for another band. I tried winding some using the pot luck method and helped it but I would like to know the right size. Thanks

Driver, 6 turns 1 1/2 inch diameter, Final, 4 turns 1inch diameter.

Tune the amp for max and check the position of the gangs, they should be at half mesh.

If the gang is fully meshed, that means you need more turns on your coil. If your gang is fully open, that means you have too many turns.

Do not try to adjust the output or driver tank coils with the amp powered on (but you knew that!).

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
