Where do you prefer to find quality replacement parts? I am currently working on sweep tube palomar. Caps, relays cement resistors small signal diode. I have picked up a few part numbers, but my list is incomplete.

The thing that works great with Mouser (if you live in Texas) ... if you choose UPS as the carrier.... since Mouser is in Texas and YOU are in Texas... they automatically upgrade you to overnight. My wife tells me that is a "UPS thing" not a "Mouser thing". Any time you ship from a place in the same state she says UPS always does that. And every order I make from them comes that way.

Another place I might offer is
Just Radios - Antique/Tube Parts Specialty

I used to know several places..... now the only place I could even dream of is EPO on the west side and I don't know about it for semiconductors. I used to love old surplus stores you could wander in forever and look through the big plastic bins.....

No more!!!!

Thanks for the Mouser tip! Also, there's another place for parts / surplus besides EPO called ACE, off Antoine and 290. They've been around as long, or longer than EPO. I haven't been there in quite some time so I'm not sure if they still have all of the surplus stuff that they used to have. I went to EPO off Fondren earlier this year and they were just as disorganized as ever ;)

For Heaven's Sake don't go to the one in Webster then. I was holding out hope for the western one.
Thanks for the Ace tip. I had heard of it but never really researched it. I'll have to take a Saturday and drive over ... just so I can say I did!!!!!

I've never been to that one (Webster), kinda far, also, I don't think they (ACE) are open on Saturday. If it hadn't been for the nature of my job at the time I never would have made it during the weekday.
