Past ARRL Western New York Section Manager Stephen M. “Steve” Ryan, N2ITF, died on October 3. He was 62. Ryan was appointed SM in November 2010, to serve the remaining term of Scott Bauer, W2LC, who had resigned. Ryan lost his bid for election to the section leadership position in 2012. ARRL Atlantic Division Director Bill Edgar, N3LLR, subsequently appointed Ryan as an Assistant Director.
