Recently decided to obtain a Vanity Call for a Club where I am trustee. Applying for a Vanity was the only thing I could do on my own without going through a VEC Service via Form 605C. Anyway, decided on a call which was not in use. Surprised at the time of application on the FCC ULS that there was no Fee for Vanity for a Club ..... then after it went through (got the desired call) - I guess because it was a change of call, that they Freshed it up for a new 10 Year period. The existing call was set to expire in 2023 and I figured the Vanity would serve out that term .... but it's good for a fresh 10 .... and Free to boot. Way to go FCC !!!
