Guys/Gals
I've been looking for an oscilloscope for my work bench (tinker station) that is needed for PLL alignments. Even on eBay, those suckers are expensive! A buddy gave me his DSO Nano saying it might do what I need but he wasn't sure. I'm a jet engine specialist by trade and communications is very new to me including the scopes and their role in the alignment process.
Does anyone know if that nano will do what I need it to do? If so, how do I set it up? There's a lot of settings on it and every setting I have used gives me the same straight line with no waves. Really need help here.
Thanks for reading!!

I looked that up on the net and it looks like it's maximum signal input frequency is 1mcps.
A typical cb radio pll ciruit has 10.4mcps up to 35 mcps.
I don't think it is gonna be very useful for that purpose.
You should have 30mcps minimum bandwidth scope for pll alignment.

Yes it will.
Should be more than sufficient for cb pll alignment.
But, sometimes old school analog scopes are more user friendly, especially if you are unfamiliar with the ins and outs of o'scopes.
