Yes its the same one...........

My tech put it on the scope and tuned it but still the receive seems really week to us both. Any clues as to where to look for a fix?

How did you determine that the receive is weak? Just out of my own curiousity.

FYI, You need a lot more than a scope to do a receive alignment. He may have done the works....but you didn't say....

He screwed coax from the scope into the radio and as he put it....... "injected a signal" and set the radio receive to spec using the oscilloscope. After this i told me that it seamed a little weak compared to other 29's he had done in the past. I don't know what it is inside a radio ( or where there at ) that makes up the receive part so im not sure what to replace.

All I menat by that was have you had it side by side with another radio? Receiver sensitivity is something that's difficult for me to judge otherwise without a direct comparision.

There's a lot of steps involved in the receive alignment process, and a lot of equipment required.

The small screw inside the L2 pot was bad, replaced it with one out of another radio and now it works fine.

I'm surprised that the tech didn't spot that while tuning.
