ok well try your 959 on ssb and see what kind of output you get.150 out of a 2879 is not out of the ordinary i have seen 2879s do 200 out of each with a lot of drive and voltage.your meter only reads pep are you serious.
Yep, according to the manual this Dosy only does PEP...
Isn't there a conversion factor from average to PEP that I remember reading about? Could that be used to go the other way and provide a rough average reading from a PEP reading?
I have never in all my years seen a meter that only reads pep. What brand and model number of meter are you using?
