power supply?

I have a aries 50 power supply.Does anyone know someone who sells these?Im going to have to run a new line for nothing but the power supply and the guy at the hardware store said that a 50 supply should be run off of 220 amp only and not 110.But when i got this thing the shop who sold it to me said it was for use with a 110.If it was to be used with a 220 it would not work at all on a 110 right?

It should be a conventional 110v... the plugs on the end that plug into the wall would be different if it were a 220v.

This one just has the standard 3 prong plug.
