Since I have got back into this in a major way I have been looking @ Mic's for my old 140 gtl that I put in my truck with a King Bee 150/250 amp . I look at these new mic's they beep an echo come in colors look like guns an who knows what . Are any of them worth their salt or am I better with the old Turner Plus 2/3 ? You have to realize I'm older my equipment is older an I just think when you are holding a Old Turner it just feels right .I just think I might be better with a used Turner than a new mic I never heard of. Thanks:unsure:

I have ran the RF Limited Turbo Extreme 2018 on a lot of different rigs. It sounded very good on all but my President Lincoln. If you don't want echo, they have one without it, only with tone controls instead. The echo mic does have a noise cancelling feature, and yes, it works. Lots of others out there that work well, the pistol grip one (I think is what you mean) has had good reports from M42Duster. I've never tried one. Astatic Road Devil works well, as does the MD104 (but the PTT button is cheap). I've also ran the SRA-158 which is NOT amplified, and it is just about as loud as the amplified mics I have run, and has good clear audio.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
