Hi guys,

Couldn't find it in Europa thought i try the US.
Im stuck, For my new (stack) antenna set-up
I am looking for several low-noise pre-amps (<1dB) I need them due to the long lenght of coax cable and the loss in several switches.
The response frequencie is around 27/28 mhz.
I am not looking for simple commercial ones (zetagi/rms/cbmaster etc.) But more in the direction of klm/mirage.
Any other ideas besides those from KLM/Mirage ?
Perhaps schematics?

Thank you in advance.

klm/mirage pre-amps for 11 meters is fairly useless
the commersial ones may do as intended
especially if mounted directly at antenna

Hello,

Thank you for the answer.
The idea was indeed to place it (two pre-amps) at the top two yagi's. (the lower not needed, only for sproadic E)
Due to the stacking switch and normal antenna switches and the height of the tower (long cable)
I will loose about 2..3dB So I would like a pre-amp to make up for that.

The problem is that the commercial ones on the CB market are useless cause they have an own noise level of several dB's, can't handle any power and are not wheater resistance.

So I was hoping someone could help me on a schematic, or perhaps there are commercial ones availible who do fit the profile.

Thanks again.
Henry.
