HI, woule anyone know if the S/RF meter out of a cobra 139 or a 142 would fit into the president washington? I can't find one for the washington but I found many parts radios (cobra) on Sleesbay?

Yep, a meter from a Cobra 139/142 will work in those President Washingtons, I've had to do some meter swapping in the past. If the Washington is the 3 button model, with the S/RF/Mod button, then the meter from a 139/142 doesn't have the markings in it to show the modulation percentage, but the meter will still work fine. OK thanks about Ken's, Just checked, not in stock and thanks about the cobra ones,, I thought they looked the same? and it is 2 button,

You should be just fine, I noted that you have the D858 Washington, so yep, it's a drop-in.
