IMG_3681.JPG I had a customer take a President Bill II and plug the cig lighter into a 24V plug on a loader. He said it got a little warm:ROFLMAO:. Now there is little reason in putting time into a radio that can be replaced with a new one far cheaper than the time to repair, but I still had to tear it down. This is the top side view after you remove the board from the frame.

There is no TX power but Rx is good as well as all other functions of the radio. The service menu is still operational.
I'm a gambling man and going with the A2022 getting toasted with 24V.
Though you might like to see the pic.
Not sure if I'm going further.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
