President Madison Blackface. anyone seen one of these before?


Looks like a pretty slick make-over. I don't remember if Deb's was doing decals for these rigs or not, but I know she did black ones for Cobra 2000GTL's. Still, it's an old Madison, and I actually like the way they originally came better.

I'm in the process to prime and paint a Uniden Washington,will post pictures later when is done

Can't say that I've ever seen one. One thing that strikes me as odd- the seller claims it's an 'import' model but the power cord is clearly North American 115V standard. Also I don't see any additional features as might appear on an 'import' model such as FM or, if it were made for the UK the UK type acceptance label that is usually prominently displayed on the front.

Methinks it's a garden-variety Madison that has had a bit of cosmetic work done to it.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
