Just picked up a used President Washington Base station, it has extra channels and is SSB too.

Are these good radios? I am going to take it to the local CB shop to have them look it over.

Any opinions

no they are junk radio u better send it over here, i'll take it off ur hands..nawww.. they are a very good radio.. pretty much the same as a 142... very good talking radios..
 
Ok first of they washington is a good radio with the right tune job on it.

And for the second question the 2995 is refering to the ranger 2995dx, which is a export radio that can be converted to be used on the cb band.

I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
