I have a Pride DX300 that works perfect, except the screen light doesn't work. Is it suppose to come on only when its keyed, or is it suppose to come on when the amp is turned on? Thanks ....... Tim

If, your amp is working perfectly, you should only see the Screen Overload Indicator come on when you are loading it up heavly or if there is a problem in the screen circuit.
If you suspect that the Screen Overload Indicator is not working properly (not lighting of even flickering) the the possibilities are the LED itself, R-35 (150 ohm @ 1/2 watt) or, D-28 (1N4001). Interconnecting wiring or connector failure could also stop the light from coming on.
If you choose to nose around in there, take ALL necessary safety precautions and then go at it.
Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
