i called a few local radio shacks looking for SS 102 inch cb antennas , non had them . two of them said they had them but it turned out they just had regular crappy antennas . i asked about pl-259's since i was there and could tell they had never herd of them . if you need phones , televisions , boom boxes or RC cars they got them . cb radio equipment ? not worth the bother to me . they could probally special order stuff but if i have to wait for something id rather wait for delivery from a proven quality supporter of the cb hobby like http://ampsrus.net/main.sc or http://www.sparkyscbshack.com/home.html or http://www.dtbradio.com/catalog/ . just my opinion , and we all know what opinions are like .

local radio shack here has limited cb equiment.most of it no one would be
interested in.the stuff they had were great for vactioners or camping or just
a temporaily install.also got all kinda of adapters and connectors was gonna buy
some pl259s but they were 3.50 a piece.no way gonna buy a whole bag from coppers
for just a little more money..lolso just my solder and left
