Attached is the software for programming and aligning the Motorola GM300 radios. This is DOS software and you need a real serial port. A USB-Serial adapter will not work.

Enjoy!

It will only work on a PC with a real serial cable. Also, the application may not work on some modern machines because they're too fast (believe it or not). Download something like DOSBox, which will let you emulate older processors

Im not understanding what this is then? Its 1 cable verses the setup you posted can you explain? They both say programming cable which is why Im confused LOL!!

The one I posted will do several different models of Motorola radios. The only connector you need for the GM-300 is the RJ-45, which goes into the mic slot. There are cables on eBay that just have that connector if that is what you want.

I have one of these radios with an advertised range of 146 - 176 MHz. Is there a modification that will permit tuning it to the full amateur 2 Meter range (i.e., down to 144 MHz)? Some of the local repeaters go down to 144.830 MHz. Thanks!
