Project Boxes 3D Printed

Can you make a plastic frame for this such that the touchscreen can be mounted to the door of an electrical panel? I have a little HMI/PLC project.

It would be more of a picture frame than a project box though. If this is something you can do, I will get dimensions when it arrives. Thanks!

I can give it a try... Any special color? Dan

Gray would match the panel, but any color would do. As soon as it arrives, I will get you the measurements.

I might be able to make an STL file in solidworks. What file type does your printer use?

Thanks!

I have gray filament. My printer uses .gcode... but an .stl file is fine, I'll use my slicer program to convert it to .gcode... Dan

I might be hitting you up soon for a couple of smaller size boxes. I have a couple of upcoming projects that will require specific sizes.

I couldnt find my midland mic, so I tried them on my cobra25. Very cool! The fit, the angle, the style, all peffect. Nice job on these Dan! I have a feeling they will become quite popular! Now to clean a spot on my bench and give it a permanent home.

Thanks for the kind words... Glad you like them... This would be an economical way to use a mobile cb as a base... Dan
