I have a Galaxy DX-959 that runs pretty good, but good is never enough. I saw this channel guard IF filter and wanted to know how many people are using it. I heard the install is tricky, does the radio need to be tuned after that. Thanks for any information.

don't know about the install part but they are pretty nice little kits to use. I have one in my RCI 2950 (older version) It makes the radio a lot quieter than the other 2950's I had before.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
