Hello, All. I was wondering what mics you guys use with your Lincolns? Also, did you have the Priority Channel Board installed along with the chipswitch? One more thing, what size power supply would I need to use the Lincoln as a base unit? Thanks a lot!

On my Base and mobil (when I'm sitting still) I use a Turner +3 Desk mic. AWESOME! The stock hand mic.'s dont sound bad. For mobil use,I'm having a Turner JM/2 hand mic. wired to my HR2510 so I dont have to use the funky 7 volt battery in the mic. Dont have the radio and mic. back yet but will post a report on how this set up works when i get it. I dont really need the memory-etc. that the chipswitch offers so the 3 radios I have dont have the chipswitch mod. Not sure on what power supply to run the Lincoln as a base. I have mine hooked to a Astron 20 amp and it works just fine but probably could have it hooked to a smaller one. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

I'm using an Astatic Roadevil mike and a 14amp PSU,no worries and good reports. But I'm on the hunt for a good base mike too.

Astatic Night Eagle on Lincoln base, 575 on mobile.

Astron 30 power supply. My understanding from Bill at

Bill's two way, was the priority channel board didn't work well and was dropped from his site.

The manual states that a stock radio on SSB will need 5 amps (at 25 watts) or 3 amps (at 10 watts) for AM.

I would double that and use a 10 amp power supply. That way you have a good cushion and won't be over-taxing your power supply.

I like the Turner +3B microphone for this radio.

Hello Rolling Road Block:

I use a M 575 mic, no priorty board, but do have the chipswitch mod,

and Bill Good put in the MRF 455 finial for me so that I kick the amp

harder, TS-500, sounds good.

I use a Astron SS 25 amp power supply when on the base, it the

switching type power supply so its not so big a box, and its quiet.

Astron also makes a 35 amp SS type power supply for round 135 Dollars.

Use a Francis Amazer fiberglass 96" whip antenna for mobile, and the

I-10K 5/8 for the base.

I don't know why you guys say us a power supply any larger than 10 amps. I don't know of any Lincoln's that put out over 40 watts SSB? "Hawk"
