Radio shops

Hope everything you purchase works as expected. The Qixiang, as an OEM manufacturer has a track record of being very consistent and the Anytone brand has been great values for radios that can be setup properly by the end user, no radio shop hands required to get operating on the air. All of my friend that commented are making his comments based on his own experiences from purchases. All have offered me help in that past and their help is accurate and welcome. Myself, I am still running an SSB export radio as a base radio. My next purchase by a Radioddity QT40, or QT60.

I still prefer the old style look
Of the Stryker with the chrome Bezel compared to the dull looking anytone , but I do like the compact design of the 6666 a lot of radio operators Enjoy using them and the compact design would be a good choice for a mobile radio.
Look at the QT-40, for modernized old school look. I have one and think it is also fantastic.

Here is a quick video on how to convert this radio. It will take longer to remove the cover then do the conversion.

The newer 955HPC+ don't have a jumper wire. Two ways you can do enable 11 meter. You can add a jumper connecting top pad and bottom pad or solder top pad and middle pad together. I have seen shops do it either way.
