Radios, radios and more radios

I am in the process of ordering a Galaxy 94hp from DTB radios. Now I need another radio for my 2nd vehicle. Options are General Lee or Cobra 29 Lx new camo version. I am going to order from Bells CB shop. If I get the Cobra I would have them put in a MOSFET final for same out put as the General Lee. Opinions on these radios guys?

im not sure what he means, but ive put mosfets ins quite a few 29LTD's and never had an issue with high SWR.

ive never done a 29LX though, and maybe thats the difference, but it should be exactly the same on the inside as a regular 29LTD.

i think you will like the receive on the 29 better, but both radios will do you fine.

I think I'm going with the 29 cheaper, better receive, more features and same output. Like the new camo too.

If you are aware about the better rx qualities of a cobra 29, dare I ask why in the world you would spend the money on a galaxy 94 rather than a cobra and a nice amp, and probably cheaper in the end?

Yeah, the trouble of having to setup an external amplifier.

I don't see it. You would want to run power direct for the 94 any way, so what that extra jumper that big of a deal?
