RAIN, RAIN ...GO AWAY !!

Here´s what happens when it rains for 49 out of the last 60 days. A great big mudslide and no more driveway !!








We're working to shore it up before we lose any more of the driveway. When the rain stops (probably in June) we'll put in a concrete retaining wall. Until then, it's walk or ride our motorcycles, 'cause the car can't get out. Never a dull day here.

Technically... yes, in June. But there really aren't any seasons here. Temp stays the same year 'round... 60s at night, 70s to high 80s during the day. Sorta like Southern Cal ... but without the smog. LOL. This much rain is unusual, and thank God we're in the mountains, because the central part of the country (lowlands) is totally under water. Real tragedy for a lot of people. Hope the rain stops sometime soon.
