OK this is a strange one, let’s start with it is a bit off frequency on SSB but spot on in AM & FM that’s not the weird issue.
when the radio is cold and keyed up at say 10 watts AM I not see a frequency read out on an external counter or scope but when I turn up power to say 30 watts it starts to show a frequency. Now mind you it shows full 10 watts on Bird when cold and keyed?
when warmed up it works fine?
