I have a 6900f 150 that's done but the amp on the bottom cover still works.. Can I take that off and use it on another radio?

Just don't bolt it to a radio with two final transistors. It was meant only for the drive level from a single final. Driving it twice that hard will shorten the life of the RF transistors.

Using the hookup to the old radio pc board as a guide will work best if the 'new' radio has the same or a similar circuit board. And if it's very different the skill level needed will be higher.

Upgrading a carburetor is always easier when the mounting holes line up same as the old one.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
