Anyone have any experience or opinions on the SRA-117 Ranger echo mike when used on a 2950DX? Can the echo be shut off completely for SSB talking?

Thanks!

the mic has a switch on the back to turn off the echo. two dials, nested, on front for adjusting echo and delay. Cool but must mod the mike connector to provide 8 volts and can not use original mike (or any other non powered mic) unless undo 8 volt power mod. could put small switch in line. Several places on circuit board to tap for 8 volt power souce for mic connector. I use on my 2970DX. I like it with just a hint of echo and delay.

Enjoy
