Hi everyone,

Just wondering why these radios were discontinued? Bought one new about 3 years ago and was satisfied from the moment i hit the airwaves. Havent had a bit of trouble out of it just sad there gone!

Not sure why they were discontinued, but I love mine. A nice radio. Maybe they stopped making them, so you'd buy the more expensive 2995-DX with the pills.

They're not "gone" but "updated to the Connex Saturn, DX2517, 2980DX, and the 2995.

I am eyeballing the Connex Saturn, beautiful blue display, roger beep and echo built in. I would like to find a Galaxy Saturn Turbo.

And to me they're gone red ranger! Can't buy one new that says 2985.
