Ranger2950Dx 3 My first contact

Well Good afternoon Radio folks, was traveling to Walmart on I-99 South bound and made my first contact on 27385LSB to a gentleman who went by the call sign 109 out of Fresno, California. It only lasted about 10-15 sec,pretty good from PA to CA in a mobile unit,conditions were kinda of crazy today, thought I would share, God Bless and 73'sss.

I'm always amazed that you can talk that far on a mobile.

Yes I was amazed also,like I said it only lasted maybe 10 sec cause he only had time to acknowledge he heard my call sign, then the conditions changed very quickly, this cycle 24 I believe that it's called is so much different from the mid 1990's when I was into SSB 11 meter,just seems like different conditions from back then,just my 2 pennies, alrighty thanks for the reply and 73's and God Bless Radio folks!!!!!!
