Rare President D104 Is this really a thing???

found this ad on ebay and to me it doesn't look "factory".

so, was there ever really a "president" D104 or is this a black and chrome that someone modified?

I do think they were a thing, at least for a bit. They usually sell for far beyond what I would pay though.

back in the day yes there was a president d 104 with a tug 8 stand,,, it was the matching setup for the ike madison and washington and one more that has left my mind,, president and dak both did it,,,

I have even seen a Pearce Simpson, but I am unsure if the head of the mic had any special treatment.

That mike is a factory "Night Eagle" with a sticker on it.

Not sure how many hundred bucks the sticker is worth, but the mike is a factory Night Eagle, looks like.

I have seen many Night Eagles and never have seen a "new" or one with paint in great condition where you can see the paint missing around the four screw holes?
Im just saying it looks to me that it has been painted at home?
