So I have an RCI 2950 with a capacitor that is labeled as 'C185', however according to the service manual and parts list there is NO c185... any ideas what this is used for?

Ive got a manual where c185 is listed this is what it states on the parts list. Im not schematic Savy but maybe I can help.
C161,185,COPPER SIDE CE0163377Z 330mF 16WV

Perhaps the greyed out portion would represent the resistor being on the bottom side of the board?

that's weird, one radio has a 10pf ceramic in the component side of the board

Hey FX I have a mk1 and a mk2 at home, when I get some time over the next couple of days I will compare them for you

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
