Ok heres the deal Im rewiring an Astatic D104 to a 2950 the mic was wired to the radio but wires started pulling off one by one so its time to redo it. The problem is the base mic had a nifty up and down external wiring coming off the plug and ran down the venter of the coiled mic cord it works great for changing channels. I know the wiring but need to know where this ground wire for the channel changer hooks to the recieve (black) wire? Or where I didnt see how this was done it was already off when I opened the plug. I know pins 5 and 6 are the channel up and down but theres a black wire on the buttons and im not sure where the propper spot is to ground it to. I know its either the black recieve or the shield Im guessing Thanks in advance....... Tony
