I was offered a deal I cant refuse and had some questions. I am getting a RCI 2950 and a 2970 for $100.00. theres is nothing wrong with either radio they both look new. The guy that has them doesnt use them any more and he had them tuned up by a Ham Radio store every 6 months . I like and run the 2950s but I have never had or used a 2970 so I need a little input on what there actual PEP output is and where is the best power setting to run them. Also how reliable are these high powered rigs. I dont know forsure but would assume these 2970s would get pretty warm so a fan could added for cooling. Thanks Tony...........
