Looking at getting one of these and want to know who the best is to get it from (tune/price). Not so much the price but want it done right. Thanks.

I'm planning on getting mine from DTB radio, have heard a lot of good things about them.

yup DTB in carlisle PA. of Bells CB in Florida.

I'd go with DTB. BellsCB hot rods them to much for my tastes.

Plus, you'll likely get the unit way faster from DTB.

You might send DXman a PM, he is a 2950/70 fiend. He has owned dozens of them and had everyone and their brother tune one. I am certain he has narrowed it down to a few good shops at this point.

Go with DTB. A birdie in my ear once told me he has info from Bill and Justin both from CA who helped with the design. Bill took the 2900 series and did a lot of improvements on it and while RCI only did about half of what was recommended..it became the 2950. Then after Bill passed away in 2003, Justin did a lot of changes as well and along came the 2950dx series.
