RCI-2980 freq adjustment help

Hello, I have a 2980. Is there a way to change the frequency range. Right know it is 25.615 to 28.315. I would like to move it up to cover more of the 10m band. I would have more use with the high band than the low, 25mhz is pretty much dead air space. If it's an easy mod, I will do it myself. if it's really involved I will have to take it to a tech.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
