even though that's not a huge issue that's always a little frustrating especially after forking over the dough those rigs cost. That's always the kind of thing that happens to me. Have you possibly tried rerouting the power wires to the fans? Although a slightly different issue, but galaxy years back had a hum and turned out rerouting the el wires away from the front end would would clear it up. Just a thought
 
Another thing you can try is to install an LM7808 voltage regulator IC right off the power supply and feed the fans off that to provide some isolation from the main power supply in the radio. The fans may run a little slower, but they should still flow enough air to cool the heatsink. Make sure to add a .01uF bypass capacitor to ground on the V+ output leg of the 7808 regulator to PCB ground to drop any potential RF to ground.
