rci 2995 / tx = grzzz !! ?

I'm not following you here.........you say you have to buy a base radio so your happy. Thats fine. Or did you already buy a 2995 and you have a question?????? And what in the sam hill is " transfotmateur. " Wow, almost gave me a headache re-reading that post several times.

Bonjour Mikola,

Pardonnez mon francais primitif.

Post-Script for english speakers: The line frequency in France is 50 Hz, not 60 like in the USA. Might make the transformer's core 'buzz' a little. Gotta figure RCI designed the transformer with that fact in mind. Never have heard one do that on 60 Hz juice here in the USA. Never.

hello nomadradio & all !

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
