I just got a LNIB RCI 2995DX and the power seems to be set low. On AM it keys up 30 but only swings to about 75 and on SSB im lucky if i see 80... I see others post that they get more but mine seems to be a dog...

What kind of wattmeter?
Makes a big difference to what you'll see when you modulate the radio.
And if it's fully factory-stock, the modulation limiter setting could easily allow it to show only this much.
How much do you see on sideband transmit with the "Power" knob all the way to the right?
