RCI-2995DX Mic Options

Hi, I am looking for opions on which mic to run with a 2995dx with a speech processor. Right now I use a D104 silver eagle with no speech processor and mic gain on the radio can go wide open. As soon as the speech processor is on I cannot get it past 8 o'clock on the mic gain... Any ideas

if you want to run the procesor. you would have to go with a low amplified mic, either a stock, or i would go with a shure desk mic or a cheap one like a cobra or something along those lines... or you can now turn you mic gain to where you want to run it.. say at 6 turn your mic down all the way then the processor on the turn the mic up it should just take a tad then you should be smoking... an that way you save on batterys the radio and the compersion on the processor..
